NO Friday, November 3, 2000, Andrew Russell of the Portland Press Herald in Maine came to a head office to make a confession.
"I think I made a terrible mistake, "said regional editor Managing Editor Curt Hazlett. And Hazlett completely agree. Russell had left" the big one "disappear.
In July, the Herald Press reporter Ted Cohen, 49, found s George W. 1976 Bush while intoxicated arrest in Kennebunkport, Maine – a story that mysteriously eluded the national media, who claimed to have combed through every inch of the bottom of Bush.

Press Herald staff was not aware of the arrest again until WPXT in Portland Fox 51 television reported the story at 7 pm on 02 November just before the start of "The Drew Carey Show." Fox News Channel had sent the history of ping-pong around the country about 45 minutes before, courtesy of WPXT. Fox News went with the story the minute a Bush spokesman, confirmed the same.
Russell had never mentioned a word about the arrest of 24-years of Bush Press Herald to any other publishers. Nor was Cohen. (Russell declined to comment.)
"It's a very good editor, a young guy," Russell said Hazlett. "I certainly feel bad for him. There was nothing I could say that would make him feel better or worse. There is nobody who has not made a big mistake. He has made larger by the fact that there are national implications of the story. I feel very bad that we had this story. If I had taken the time a little more and get another opinion, would have changed how everything has been informed. "
Instead of breaking history in July, broke five days before the election, obscuring the issue of liability and drunk driving. The focus became critical of the media to publicize the arrest so close to Election Day.

After the verdict, attorney Tom Connolly was Fehlau, a delegate to the Democratic National Convention had run unsuccessfully for governor of Maine. Confirmed the arrest and gave him the case number.
"I was able to call the court, give the file number, gives the name, give your date of birth, "said Fehlau of ABC's" Nightline "on Nov. 2, hours after breaking the story." They were not. Fox News Channel quickly confirmed the arrest with the Bush campaign and ran the story shortly after 6 pm The Associated Press picked it up, and the incident became the focus of campaign coverage.
Also at 6 pm, Fehlau called the arrest a retired officer, Calvin Bridges, at home. Bridges confirmed the arrest but refused to go to the camera. Fehlau told, "I always knew this day to come. "
"We had the paperwork," says Kelly. "It was not until the reporter interviewed the arresting officer was comfortable. "
WPXT issued an update for 30 seconds at 7 pm by the presenter Joe Palmieri. Fehlau had a bit more details on regular WPXT 10-hour news program.
Reporter Susan Kimball in Portland NBC affiliate, WCSH-TV, also has the tip at about the same time Fehlau. Kimball, with 17 years experience, I knew I needed a response from the Bush campaign. "We really feel that, given the context of the lateness of this news in the election cycle and is very explosive information that could turn a leadership election of the free world, "says Thaxton," which was in the best interest of all to get confirmation of Bush. "
But before Kimball could obtain the confirmation of Bush, the story was transmitted. WCSH decided not to cut into programming, but found a short piece during its regular update 8:45 pm. Unless you live under a rock, you have heard, no doubt, by Hannah Montana (Miley Cyrus). She is the teen superstar who has taken the entertainment industry for the storm.

Miley Ray Cyrus, born Destiny Hope Cyrus in Nashville, Tennessee on 23 November 1992, the father of Billy Ray Cyrus (where he took his middle name) and her mother, Leticia "Tish" Finley. I was twelve when she auditioned for the role of Miley Stewart / Hannah Montana, but was first considered it too small for the role. Disney, producer of shows, later changed his mind. Ironically, had worked to drop the southern accent, but Disney asked him to bring to the show.

To say that Cyrus has become a success would be an understatement. With the album debuted at # 1 on Billboard's Top 200 pitches, many quality jobs, and a cult-like following, Cyrus is one of the children star luxury in any genre of entertainment.

In December 2007, which was ranked # 17 on the Forbes list of Top Twenty Superstar Employees under 25 years with an annual gain of U.S. $ 3.5 million. Hi all, tomorrow is my birthday! Yes ….. (For example) 44 years ago was "planted" in land. I also have a CD of Allen Jackson and Kenny Chesney when I feel like singing in my garden. – So far, my neighbors have not complained. I appreciate any suggestions.
