Has anyone heard of the collection agency called "Apelles"?
I've been getting calls daily from them for weeks and I have called both places and can have any debt with any of the affiliated company. My question is, do any of you know who you are affiliated with? Or just some unfortunate chance now is to get the anger at the stupidity of someone else?
When a debt collector first contacts you has rights under a federal law called the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act Your first step should always be to request validation of debt. Even if the debt is valid, request validation anyway.
